From a modeler's perspective, the process of making Alchemic Crafter has gone great. We are coming to an end, and we have made great progress through all of the sprints. I’m very pleased with the work I’m putting out and I’m comfortable with those cards being assigned to me as well. For this sprint, I was able to get to all the cards without having any left in assigned which felt nice. For this sprint, I believe I completed a total of 23 cards or somewhere around there, which has been fairly consistent for the past sprints. I will go ahead and dive into some of cards that's I completed and then cover what I plan on doing for the last and final sprint. For the first model, I made a fairly simple rug model which wasn’t too high in polys but still had some curviness to it to give it that look of a rug. One of the things I was stuck on for a solid minute was finding a texture to put on the rug to give it that nice art look. The one I ended up using was sort of a pixelated forest w...

From a modeler's perspective, the process of making Alchemic Crafter has gone well. I’m very happy with the amount of work I am being given and I’m also happy with the outcome of my models for our game. As of right now, I have 1 card in progress and 4 left over in assigned but not moved. For the cards that I have left over consist of setting up particle effects and just setting up Lod’s along with the colliders on the objects. I would say the amount of work that I have completed for the last 5 sprints have been fairly consistent, which if I’m not mistaken is about 20-25 cards a sprint. Anyways I will go ahead and dive into sprint 5 and what I completed and didn’t complete. The first model, that I completed was a water fountain which will serve as an outdoor decoration for the player. For the look of this, I wanted it to catch the players attention a little, so I added some ruin type of designs on the fountain, and I plan to also have some water effect either using the particle e...

From a modeler's perspective, the process of making Alchemic Crafter has gone great in terms of the amount of work being done compared to previous sprints. It did feel a bit slower due to the small break, but I was able to catch up a bit on work and get almost everything done. As of now I’m in a decent spot with 1 card in progress and 4 left in Assigned. For the cards that I have left over, they are just setting up LODs and just one more shadowy particle effect which was a bit tricky for me, but I’m going to try my best to make it look good. So, diving into sprint 4 I was assigned with a total of 26 cards, and I was able to finish 21 cards, so I would say my velocity stands between 15-22 cards. Anyways let's skip all that and dive into the cards that I completed for the sprint. The first couple of cards that I finished up was the particle effects for the fireball and the icicle. For each I was told to not make them look too realistic and the end result came out pretty well. Fo...

From a modeler's perspective, the process of making Alchemic Crafter has gone well. Looking back at how I did compared to the first two sprints, I would say I was in the middle in terms of card completion. What I mean by this is that in the first sprint, I lacked on cards due to a problem on a card which held me back for a bit but in the second sprint I was able to catch up. As of now, I’m in a good spot with only 5 cards left but they seem pretty simple. The cards I have left over are 2 particle effects for the fireball and icicle that I have modeled. The other cards are just setting up LODs which is very simple to do. One thing I still need to do is trying to get at least one or two cards done a day. That would make my process go a lot faster but let's focus on the cards that I did finish for the two-week sprint for sprint three. The first card that I finished was making a particle effect for the portal. For this one the look that was wanted was something that looks like its...
