SimpleDndMap V3 Feedback

I wish I made it to class for the last final DnD playtest, however I had my roommate playtest my game. The thing that went right is he did remember partially what to do when he played the first time so that was a plus in the right direction, however I did have to let him know there was new stats for each of the characters along with the enemies. I think the only thing that went wrong which I wish could have changed was actually getting student feedback but this was all I can do for now. If I ever have to make a new DnD map, I will probably change some of the enemies around because I did forget that it was an alien invasion theme along with a prison escape, so be sure to stick to the theme a little better. One thing I was satisfied with was how the map came out and some of the little details I added such as the jail cells along with some keys to pick up to open the cells. Below is the map design. One of the things I learned from the last playtest from a classmate was having a way

My playtest consisted of Jax playing as the Archer and Aidan playing the mage.  I think the thing that went right was being able to have a complete playtest without any major flaws. One particular thing that went wrong was that one of my bosses didn’t really have fair stats so that's one of the things I need to work on. The boss that I’m talking about is called a Wereboar and I gave it 7 health, 3 defense,  2 magic and 4 attack so I’m going to definitely reduce the health by 1 or two and also lower the attack to probably 2 just to balance it out a bit more. When it comes to the map Aidan and Jax mentioned that they liked the layout of my map because it kind of resembles a maze but one thing they think I should add is maybe some henchmen with very weak  stats and place them around the map to add more player interaction with the game instead of having just 2 enemies. When it comes to the question, were the challenges presented appropriate to the tutorial nature of the level. I woul

09/14/2022 I had my roommate Pablo playtest my game and they played the Mage only because they wanted the magic ability with the most health. Some of the feedback they mentioned was that they like the whole layout of how I had things arranged and set. I will talk about that later in this post. I think the thing that went right is being able to actually do a small playtest of the game and actually being able to write things down as he went through the game. The thing that went wrong with this playtest was Pablo not being able to understand the rules at first so I did have to explain it to him because at first when I saw this in class I was unsure of how to start but it became a little more clear.  I think the way I will improve my map is by cleaning it up and actually having a start point and an endpoint. I kind of just drew random shapes on the grid and put them there without actually having a purpose of why I actually wanted to put them there. On the next map assignment I will definit
